WRAP (Pt.1)

Our final weekend with principal photography on the Metamorphosis were two memorable, minimal days. First, we gathered in Oakland to capture a scene between Lisa and her father in the family home. We savored every chance to catch up between takes reminiscing about the year past and the memories made at each location.

Then, late Sunday morning, a small crew of seven plus Vasilisa and her mother Tanya met in the Berkeley hills. We captured some shots to show our actor fleeing home in the final moments of the movie. Our pack was light and the air crisp as we each hiked among the trees. We were spared rain and even caught some blue skies in the last hour. Douglas finally called it a wrap and we toasted to the Metamorphosis.

The next three months will be active as we record more audio and finesse the sound design to compliment what we have captured visually. From there, we will be prepared to share a completed film with our accumulated community before the end of the summer.

Stay tuned for events and opportunities to support the Metamorphosis as the journey continues!
